Oracle HRMS EBS Technical Expert (AMS)

Job Description

The Oracle HRMS EBS Technical Expert (AMS) is responsible for technical stability, production support, and controlled enhancements of Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS in a steady-state AMS environment. The role focuses on incident resolution, regulatory updates, performance optimization, and small enhancements, with strong hands-on expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle EBS technical components, and JavaScript-based UI customizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve production defects, payroll issues, and batch/concurrent program failures
  • Design, develop, and support PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and workflows
  • Develop and maintain reports and extracts (BI Publisher and custom)
  • Implement and support JavaScript-based UI customizations (OAF, Form Personalizations)
  • Support minor enhancements, regulatory updates, and configuration-driven fixes
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
  • Support patching, testing, and AMS release readiness activities

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10–14+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle HRMS E-Business Suite
  • Strong technical expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, workflows, and concurrent programs
  • Proven experience with JavaScript for Oracle EBS HRMS UI customizations
  • Good understanding of Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Recruitment & Learning Modules.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical production HRMS systems

AMS & Delivery Skills

  • Experience working in ITIL-aligned AMS environments
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under payroll and production timelines
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
