Job Description
As a part of the Technical Research and Development center (TRD) organization the SW test Engineer is responsible for the Sw interface testing / Sw qualification test.
He/She is a part of the SW Testing team under the SW & Integration Test (SIT) COE, department reporting to the SW Test Area Manager.
Main activities/responsibilities:
· White Box Testing for the Interfaces interacting with Multiple Software Components
· Automate the Software Integration & System Integration testing with Python Scripts.
· Basic Knowledge of UML Diagrams (Sequence Diagrams)
· Understanding of C C++ & Python.
Key Skills
· In-depth knowledge of Cluster / Infotainment
· Basic knowledge/ Hands on experience of tools like Canoe, Canalyzer, GHS Debugger, Trace32,GIT
· Knowledge of SW-In-Loop testing
· Knowledge of SW integration Testing, & System Integration Testing (White Box Level)
· Review software and system requirements to develop effective test strategies and test cases
· knowledge in Verification Techniques & Methodologies
· knowledge in Configuration Management Tools Jira, Confluence Bitbucket, Alfresco,Doors
· Familiarity with automotive standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO_14229-1)
· Strong communication skills and pro-active attitude
· Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
· Has good relations with internal team members.
· Problem solving attitude
Language Skills
· Fluent written and spoken English
· Basic spoken Italian (optional)
· Basic spoken Japanese (optional)
Education & Former Experience
· Electronics / Computer Science / Instruments or similar Engineering degree (preferably Master’s)
· More than 2-3 years of experience in SW Test/SW Integration test.
· More than 1-2 years of experience On UML diagram or sequence diagram.
· 2-3 Years of experience on any programming language Such as C/C++ or python.
