Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide effective leadership by setting clear goals, motivating team members, and fostering a positive work environment.
- 2Task Assignment: Managing yearly shift rota, ensuring cover across the 24×7 period and ensuring that our Shift Team are working safely and have cover where required. Allocating tasks to team members, ensuring a balanced workload and optimal productivity.
- Communication: Facilitate open and transparent communication within the team, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned with work and ongoing project.
- Guidance and Support: Offer guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, helping them develop their skills and overcome challenges.
- Collaboration: Promote a collaborative culture by encouraging teamwork, resolving conflicts, and fostering a sense of unity among team members.
- SLA Management: Oversee work, ensuring cases are completed on time and within SLA, while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance assessments, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for personal development.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues promptly, using critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth functioning of the team.
- Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changing priorities, project requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and uphold quality standards, ensuring that the team delivers work that meets or exceeds expectations.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on team performance and other relevant metrics to higher management team.
Role Requirements:
- This role will require SC clearance – so, we would need resources who are SC eligible
- Proven leadership experience.
- A detailed understanding of tooling across the service spectrum (Jira, ServiceNow, Splunk/Dynatrace/ Grafana/Cloudwatch/AWS/Github/secure pipelines etc.)
- Previous experience working within a 24×7 environment with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities that brings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Knowledge of the industry and relevant technologies.
- Ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in software applications, systems, and networks.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
- Experience working within an ITIL environment
