Position Name: Cypress SDET Tester (Automation)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

·       Will be working in a small team to provide QA for agile sprints.

·       Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)

·       Analysing business requirements to define test strategy.

·       Creating and verifying defects in Jira, working with the development team to ensure an efficient resolution.

·       Executing manual test runs and expanding the TestRail test assets.

·       Developing and expanding the automated test cases.

·       Provide documentation when required.

·       Help troubleshoot issues.

Key skills and experience:

·       Proven experience in an automation testing position.

·       Experience of creating and maintaining automation frameworks (Cypress).

·       Good knowledge of automated endpoint testing (ideally REST-assured framework).

·       Good knowledge of performance testing (ideally Jmeter).

·       Good knowledge of BDD and TDD tools (ideally Cucumber).

·       Ability to read and interpret code (Java Script/Java).

·       JSON Knowledge.

·       Experience of microservice testing

·       Knowledge of UX/UI tests.

·       Experience of working in an Agile environment.

·       Experience with ticketing and workflow systems (ideally JIRA, Confluence and TestRail).

·       Basic SQL ability for querying and verifying data.
