Job Description

The Connectivity Data Services team builds and maintains scalable platforms and services that power connectivity features across our product ecosystem. Our mission is to enable seamless, reliable, and secure connectivity experiences for millions of users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Connectivity data services and APIs that support connectivity features for all our Android-based products.
  • Design, build, and optimize scalable services that manage wireless traffic across the product ecosystem. Ensure secure, reliable, and efficient data flow to support seamless connectivity and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product & companion app) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Implement scalable solutions for collecting and analyzing connectivity metrics and telemetry.
  • Drive technical excellence by contributing to architecture decisions, code reviews, and best practices.
  • Lead bug triage and root cause investigation efforts by analyzing logs, telemetry, and test results. Systematically identify, prioritize, and resolve connectivity-related issues in production and development environments.
  • Leverage AI capabilities with existing processes; orchestrate multiple AI tools and agents in parallel, leveraging prompt engineering skills and deep understanding of tool capabilities to deliver project impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Kotlin.
  • Experience with Android Connectivity Framework and strong background in networking concepts such as TCP, TLS, HTTPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
