Job Description
We are looking for a Data Support Engineer / Senior Engineer / Lead to manage high-volume data operations involving Snowflake, data pipelines, and reporting systems.
This role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the reliability of data loads and reporting systems.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Operations
- Monitor and manage:
- Data pipelines (Azure Data Factory – ADF)
- Daily, weekly, and monthly data loads
- Manage high-volume data operations (1000+ pipelines/day)
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
- Troubleshoot:
- Pipeline failures
- Data discrepancies
- Report mismatches due to Tableau refresh issues
- Perform:
- Log analysis
- Root cause identification
Data Analysis
- Analyse:
- Data issues raised by business users
- Data mismatches across systems
Reporting Support
- Support reporting layer:
- Monitor Tableau data refreshes
- Validate data accuracy and consistency
Ticket & Access Management
- Handle:
- Data-related tickets
- Access requests (schema/report-level access)
- Ad hoc SQL-based reporting requests
Deployment & Collaboration
- Assist in:
- Deployment of data changes (scripts, schema updates)
- Collaborate with:
- Data engineering teams
- Development teams for issue resolution
Continuous Improvement
- Drive improvements in:
- Monitoring processes
- Pipeline standardisation
- Logging and observability
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Strong expertise in:
- SQL
- Experience with:
- Snowflake
- Data pipeline / ETL / scheduling tools (Azure Data Factory or equivalent)
- Python (for data processing and automation)

- Ability to handle high-volume, time-sensitive operations

Work Environment
- Shift-based operations (aligned with data processing cycles)
