Business Analyst 

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to support the assessment and alignment of processes between the Bank’s Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS), Planon, and a supplier-provided IWMS platform. The BA will play a key role in analysing current business processes, mapping end to end workflows, and identifying all required system interfaces to ensure seamless data flow and functional integration between both platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Analysis & Requirements Gathering
  • Analyse existing processes performed within the Bank’s Planon IWMS, documenting current state workflows, business rules, data usage, and system interactions.
  • Engage stakeholders to understand operational requirements, pain points, and gaps between Planon and the supplier’s IWMS.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs to capture functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Interface & Integration Analysis
  • Identify and document the required interfaces between Planon and the supplier’s IWMS, including data flows, integration touchpoints, and trigger mechanisms.
  • Work closely with technical teams to understand interface capabilities (APIs, data schemas, import/export workflows, etc.).
  • Define interface requirements, data mapping specifications, and integration acceptance criteria.
  • Process Mapping & Documentation
  • Develop clear and comprehensive as-is and to-be process maps using the Bank’s and industry standard modelling techniques ( BPMN).
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications suitable for technical and vendor teams.
  • Maintain documentation throughout analysis and design phases.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (operations, IT, FM, risk, supplier management) to gain alignment on process changes and integration requirements.
  • Coordinate with the supplier to ensure mutual understanding of system behaviours, data structures, and integration constraints.
  • Present findings, options, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Skills & Experience -Essential

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in technology focused or IWMS/Facilities Management environments.
  • Strong process analysis and modelling skills (BPMN preferred).
  • Experience analysing system interfaces, data flows, and integration requirements.
  • Understanding of IWMS platforms—experience with Planon is highly desirable.
